Overview
NCI Definition: An ependymoma characterized by gene fusions involving RELA, a transcription factor involved in NK-kB pathway activity. It accounts for the majority of supratentorial ependymomas in children. It has an unfavorable outcome when compared to other ependymoma subtypes. [1]
