Associated Genetic Biomarkers
KIT D816H is present in 0.03% of AACR GENIE cases, with acute myeloid leukemia with mutated NPM1, gastrointestinal stromal tumor, acute myeloid leukemia with t(8;21); (q22; q22.1); RUNX1-RUNX1T1, central nervous system mixed germ cell tumor, and cutaneous melanoma having the greatest prevalence .
KIT D816H is a predictive biomarker for use of imatinib and sunitinib in patients.
Melanoma has the most therapies targeted against KIT D816H or its related pathways .
