NCI Definition: A neuroglial tumor that arises from the brain stem. 
Brain stem gliomas most frequently harbor alterations in H3F3A, TP53, PIK3CA, HIST1H3B, and PPM1D .
H3F3A Mutation, H3F3A K28M, TP53 Mutation, TP53 Missense, and TP53 c.217-c.1178 Missense are the most common alterations in brain stem glioma .
