Intestinal Type Sinonasal Adenocarcinoma
Associated Genetic Biomarkers
NCI Definition: An adenocarcinoma that arises from the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses. Histologically it resembles intestinal carcinoma or adenoma. It is associated with lengthy occupational exposure to dust.
There are 2 clinical trials for intestinal type sinonasal adenocarcinoma, of which 2 are open and 0 are completed or closed. Of the trials that contain intestinal type sinonasal adenocarcinoma as an inclusion criterion, 2 are phase 2 (2 open).
Adriamycin octanoylhydrazone, cisplatin, and docetaxel are the most common interventions in intestinal type sinonasal adenocarcinoma clinical trials.
