Activin A receptor type II-like 1 (ACVRL1) is a gene that encodes a protein that functions as a type I cell-surface receptor for the TGF-beta superfamily of ligands. Missense mutations, nonsense mutations, silent mutations, and frameshift deletions are observed in cancers such as intestinal cancer, skin cancer, and stomach cancer.
