BCL6 co-repressor-like 1 (BCORL1) is a gene that encodes a transcriptional co-repressor protein of DNA. Missense mutations, nonsense mutations, silent mutations, frameshift insertions and deletions, and in-frame deletions are observed in cancers such as colorectal cancer, myelodysplastic syndromes, skin cancer, and stomach cancer.

BCORL1 is altered in 2.11% of all cancers with lung adenocarcinoma, colon adenocarcinoma, endometrial endometrioid adenocarcinoma, breast invasive ductal carcinoma, and melanoma having the greatest prevalence of alterations [3].
