HIST1H3J is altered in 0.52% of all cancers with breast invasive ductal carcinoma, lung adenocarcinoma, colon adenocarcinoma, endometrial endometrioid adenocarcinoma, and high grade ovarian serous adenocarcinoma having the greatest prevalence of alterations [3].

The most common alterations in HIST1H3J are HIST1H3J Amplification (0.12%), HIST1H3J Loss (0.11%), HIST1H3J E98K (0.02%), HIST1H3J R27C (0.01%), and HIST1H3J D82N (0.01%) [3].
