NFKBIA
Overview
Nuclear factor of kappa light polypeptide gene enhancer in B-cells inhibitor, alpha (NFKBIA) is a gene that encodes a protein that functions in the inhibition of protein complexes that are involved in inflammatory responses. Missense mutations, nonsense mutations, silent mutations, frameshift deletions and insertions, and in-frame deletions are observed in cancers such as endometrial cancer, intestinal cancer, and lung cancer.
