Succinate dehydrogenase complex, subunit B, iron sulfur (lp) (SDHB) is a gene that encodes a protein that functions as Complex II of the mitochondrial respiratory chain. The protein carries electrons from FADH to CoQ to oxidize succinate. Missense, nonsense, and silent mutations are observed in cancers such as lung cancer, skin cancer, and stomach cancer.
