IL7R
Overview
Interleukin 7 receptor (IL7R) is a gene that encodes a protein that functions as a receptor for interleukin 7. The protein also plays an important role in V(D)J recombination during lymphocyte development. Missense mutations, nonsense mutations, silent mutations, frameshift deletions, and in-frame insertions are observed in cancers such as endometrial cancer, lung cancer, and skin cancer.
