Associated Genetic Biomarkers

Overview

NCI Definition: This type of lymphoma is not frequently seen in the western hemisphere. Clinically, with the exception of anaplastic large cell lymphoma, mature T- and NK-cell lymphomas are among the most aggressive of all hematopoietic neoplasms. Representative disease entities include mycosis fungoides, angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, hepatosplenic T-cell lymphoma, and anaplastic large cell lymphoma. [1]

Mature T-cell and NK-cell non-hodgkin lymphomas most frequently harbor alterations in TET2, DNMT3A, RHOA, TP53, and KMT2D [2].

Most Commonly Altered Genes in Mature T-Cell and NK-Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

TET2 Mutation, TET2fs, RHOA Mutation, TET2 Nonsense, and RHOA G17V are the most common alterations in mature T-cell and NK-cell non-hodgkin lymphoma [2].
